Transitioning to AIX for Experienced UNIX Administrators
The "AIX for Experienced UNIX Administrators" course is appropriate for experienced UNIX system administrators. Comparisons between AIX and the methods and utilities used with various distributions of UNIX will be highlighted during the course. Please note the accelerated pace of this course is only possible if students are already comfortable with UNIX system administration concepts and tasks of at least one version of UNIX.
 
Who Should Attend
UNIX Administrators who have completed a system administration course in another variant of UNIX (HP-UX, Tru64 UNIX, Solaris, Linux) who desire the skills to successfully manage an AIX system or network.
 
Prerequisites
A student beginning this course should possess a working knowledge of system administration or equivalent workplace experience with a current UNIX system.
