| Managing Users |
| Concepts |
| Managing user accounts, though simple in many ways, draws on a system manager’s full knowledge of OpenVMS. How much administrative time is spent on this task is partly a mater of the number of users supported. Whatever the number, however, organization and design ease the difficulties. Certain user account information, especially privileges and resource quotas and limits, must fit the user’s work and processing needs within the balance of the system workload.
This module discusses the necessary administrative tasks for managing users and introduces other topics that other modules expand on. |
