Concepts
Backing up and archiving data must be reliable, timely, and secure. Achieving these goals requires a tested plan based on analysis of the local needs. Magnetic tape drives, including multi-drive stackers and jukeboxes, are common target devices to hold data. The OpenVMS Backup utility provides versatile capabilities.
