Managing Security
Concepts
OpenVMS provides the system manager with powerful tools for controlling access to the system and protecting data integrity. Login restrictions, access control lists, granular privilege levels, intrusion detection and auditing all contribute to the composite security framework the system manager can implement. OpenVMS clusters include all the nodes in a single security domain. This module introduces the system manager to the uses of these methods.
