| Networking for HP-UX System Administrators |
This course prepares HP-UX system administrators to manage Unix networks. Beginning with a discussion of LAN concepts, students quickly move to hands-on network configuration, using network commands, ARPA/Berkeley services, setting up DNS servers and configuring NFS.
A thorough overview of NTP, BootP and TFTP is presented along with an overview of configuring NIS. Software distribution over networks is presented in the module on SD-UX. The course concludes with an overview of CIFS. |
