Partitions, Resource Management and Server Consolidation
This course prepares system administrators to perform tasks that will allow them to manage resources to create a flexible, adaptive infrastructure.

Anyone interested in server consolidation, increased system utilization, running multiple operating systems on one server (HP-UX, Linux, and Windows) using Itanium, or mixing production, test and development on the same server will benefit from this course.

The course covers hard and virtual partitions in detail, as well as how to use HP Process Resource Manager (PRM) and Workload Manager (WLM). Instant Capacity on Demand (iCOD) will be demonstrated in a high availability environment.
